Fireye InSight® II, Type 95DSS3 Integrated Flame Scanners are microprocessor-based, utilizing solid-state Infrared (IR) and Ultraviolet (UV) sensors.
InSight II Flame Scanners incorporate internal flame relays with adjustable ON/OFF thresholds and 4-20 mA analog outputs, thereby eliminating the need for a remote flame amplifier.
Fireye InSight II Integrated Flame Scanners are available in single or dual flame relay configurations, with single or dual 4-20 mAdc flame signal outputs, using single or dual cables.
*The InSight II provides for simple retrofit of existing InSight I models
Typical Applications:
Fireye InSight® Series 4 Integrated Flame Scanners are microprocessor-based, utilizing solid-state Infrared (IR) or Ultraviolet (UV) sensors.
The InSight Series 4 scanners utilize advanced techniques for discrimination and integrate the flame detection, amplification, safety determination and flame switch functions into a single detection head. InSight Series 4 incorporates the superior detection and discrimination elements of the popular InSight II product with some enhanced features.
Typical Applications:
Fireye Phoenix Series 2 Type 85UVF / IRF Integrated Flame Scanners are microprocessor-based, utilizing solid-state Infrared (IR) or Ultraviolet (UV) sensors.
Phoenix II Flame Scanners incorporate an internal flame relay with automatically set ON/OFF thresholds, thereby eliminating the need for a remote flame amplifier or flame switch.
Fireye Phoenix II 85UVF/IRF integrated self-checking scanners are used to detect infrared (IR) or ultraviolet (UV) emissions from fossil fuel flames such as natural gas, coke oven gas, propane, methane, butane, kerosene, light petroleum distillates and diesel fuels.
Typical Applications:
Fireye InSight® I Type 95DSS2 Integrated Flame Scanners are microprocessor-based, utilizing solid-state Infrared (IR) and Ultraviolet (UV) sensors.
The InSight I Flame Scanners are available in a single flame relay configuration with a single 4-20 mAdc flame signal output using a single cable.
Fireye Simplicity™ 65UV5 Integrated, Self-Checking Flame Scanners are used to detect ultraviolet emissions from fossil fuel flames such as natural gas, coke oven gas, propane, methane, butane, kerosene, light petroleum distillates and diesel fuels.
The 65UV5 scanner is available with a one-second or four-second flame failure response time (FFRT) depending on the model selected.
Fireye Models 65UV5-1004QD and 1004EQD flame scanners provide an analog 4 to 20 mA output, referenced to flame signal strength.
Main Features:
Fireye’s FS-2 Flame Simulator provides the means to test all flame scanners sensitive to UV or IR light energy. There are settings for adjusting flicker frequency for both the IR and UV light sources.
The FS-2 includes a 1” NPT sight pipe for mounting a scanner. A ½” to 1” pipe adaptor may be used for testing smaller UV or IR scanners. This unit includes a 24 VDC power supply for testing DC-powered scanners.
